small taster course is for you, a little theory but nothing too heavy and then straight to it.
Interested in learning to Scuba Dive and about the adventure of Scuba Diving and the
true sensation of weightlessness? Then you’ll love this.
The
1½ hour sessions start with a briefing and a little theory from a professionally trained instructor and then it’s
into the shallow end to put on the Scuba equipment and take your first breaths underwater.
You will be introduced to the basic concepts of Scuba and at your instructor’s discretion you will
be invited into the deep end of the pool .
Course Pre-requisites
Suitable
for anybody with little swimming ability and in reasonable health.

How are the sessions run?
Maximum group size is 6 for PADI Discover Scuba Diving Larger groups
can be accommodated upon request, however, groups of more than 10 will be split into two and will use scuba in the shallow
end for half the session and snorkel or swim in the deep end for the other half.

For all the youngsters 8+. After a safety check and briefing you will enter a sheltered swimming pool
with your diving kit on and start to explore your surroundings. Your first diving experience is filled with fun and excitement,

PADI Open Water Course
Learn to scuba dive PADI, the world’s
leading scuba diver training & education provider. If you want to learn to scuba dive, take a PADI
Open Water Diver course, the most widely recognized and respected diving certification in the world. Within days, you can
be enjoying the underwater world.
Virtually anyone who is in good health,
reasonably fit, and comfortable in the water can earn a PADI Open Water Diver certification. This exciting course is a qualification
for life to a depth of 18 metres and is recognised all over the world. As a certified PADI Open Water Diver, you'll have
the freedom to dive with a buddy independent of a professional.
The first
3 days consist of a mixture of pool and theory, this called the Referral where you will be given hands-on instruction
in the fundamentals of scuba diving. The last 2 days are spent completing the 4 qualifying dives at a suitable open water-training
site.

- Able to
swim 200 metres
- Able to float or tread water for 10 minutes unaided
- Pre-study course manual and fill in review sections

Open Water Referral Course
The PADI Open Water Referral course is designed for students holidaying abroad, and covers
the 3-day pool and theory elements of the 5-day. Having completed the Open Water Referral course, you can then complete the
four qualifying dives at a suitable PADI Dive Centre abroad or in the UK.
Virtually
anyone who is in good health, reasonably fit, and comfortable in the water can earn a PADI Open Water Diver certification.
The exciting 3 day referral course leads on to the full Open Water course when completed and is a qualification for life to
a depth of 18 metres and is recognised all over the world. As a certified PADI Open Water Diver, you'll have the
freedom to dive with a buddy independent of a professional.
You must complete
the dives within 12 months. If you are unable to complete when away, please contact Aqua Diving School upon your return

PADI Advanced Open Water Course
PADI Advanced Open Water is your second course and allows
you to experience the real adventure of Scuba Diving with the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver Course. You will expand
on your diving knowledge and skills by trying some of diving’s most rewarding and exciting speciality areas such as
the 2 core dives in Deep diving and Navigation diving.
With your instructor
you then pick 3 additional elective dive areas that interest you, such as Wreck diving, Peak Performance Buoyancy diving,
Dry Suit diving, Boat diving and Night diving to name just a feqw
You will
upgrade your depth rating with the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course to 30 metres (21 metres for Juniors) and gain access
to some of the world’s best wrecks and reefs.

Rescue Diver
"Challenging
and rewarding" best describes the PADI Resue Diver course.

With the PADI
Rescue Diver course - Rescue Divers learn to look beyond themselves and consider the safety and well being of other divers.
You will learn about self-rescue, diver stress, diving first aid, emergency management, surface and underwater distressed
diver response. You will also learn how to deal with missing divers and how to surface an unconscious diver
Although this course is serious, it is an enjoyable way to build your confidence.

PADI Emergency First Response
Course
This is a stand alone course which can be run
at any time, however if you don’t have a First aid for divers or EFR for the Rescue Divers course you can add this to
it by combining the two. Though suited for divers, this course is equally applicable to those who are around
divers. A must for any professional diver.

Emergency First Response Primary Care
This course is the pre-requisite for the Rescue Diver and a requirement for all Divemasters
and Instructors.
The course covers basic
first aid, CPR (Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation) and looks at injury assessment, illness assessment,
bandaging, dislocations and fractures. The course meets the requirements for HSE Appointed Persons at Work and must be updated
every 2 years.
EFR Refreshers are the same as the above,
but at a reduced price.

PADI Dive Master
Take
the first step in your dive career and become a Professional PADI Divemaster.
PADI
Divemaster training develops your diving theory and skills to instructor level and hones your leadership abilities by training
you to supervise dive activities and assist instructors with student divers.
The
PADI Divemaster qualification is gained by completing a series of classroom, pool and open water lessons with the candidates
role-playing to meet the course requirements
As a qualified PADI
Divemaster you will be able to work in the dive industry as a certified assistant, as a dive guide anywhere in the world and
conduct and teach a variety of PADI programs.
Course Pre-requisites
- PADI Rescue Diver certification or qualifying
certification from another training organisation.
- PADI diver’s medical signed by a physician within the last
12 months. To work in the UK you will need an HSE divers medical
- Minimum 20 logged dives - (60 for certification)
- EFR
Primary and Secondary Care (or equivalent) within 24 months.
- Proof of experience in night, deep and navigation diving.
- Pre-study
course manuals and fill in review sections before course start.
- Be ready to take the 8 exams on the first day of the
course.
- Have good personal diving and buoyancy skills
- Be able to swim 400 metres and float for 15 minutes both
unaided. Snorkel 800 metres and tow a diver for 100 metres, all within time limits
